I wanted to take a moment and give you an update on the progress we are making with the "synchronization rewrite" mentioned below.
CompleteProject has been under heavy development the last few weeks and several parts of the code base have been impacted. We are really excited about the changes we are making as they are really "snapping" into place. The application as a whole is fitting together much better now than in previous versions and there is no doubt that these changes will help make CompleteProject better both now and in the future.
However, the size of the change is causing difficulties in terms of testing the application's compatibility with previous versions. While the new version should be backwards compatible, "should" is not really good enough. Until we can completely test the current version against the new version for backwards compatibility, we have decided to block the download of CompleteProject. If the new version does break compatibility, we want it to impact the least number of users possible.
As mentioned previously - this is painful. ...but CompleteProject is currently in beta version 0.4. If we don't bite the bullet and make the necessary changes now, we will end up building on an inferior product - and that is not good for anybody.
The next release of CompleteProject should be available in 2 - 4 weeks. Thanks for your patience.
